With ifm's 32-bit Extended Controller, You Can Simplify Complex Functions in Mobile Applications

from the Fluid Power Group at Cross

With 32 multi-functional inputs, 32 multi-functional outputs, 16 digital outputs, and 4 independently configurable CAN interfaces, ifm's 32-bit Extended Controller simplifies application integration with existing CAN based network devices. Quick and flexible interconnection and interoperability with other CANopen devices is possible with built-in CANopen protocol.

With this Extended Controller, automate complex functions in mobile applications with 80 inputs / outputs.  Each input can be confined as frequency, digital or analog with its diagnostic functions.  The analog inputs enable current and voltage measurement; the inputs support the evaluation of negative and positive digital input signals.  The configurable digital or PWM outputs offer optional current control and diagnostic capabilities.

Electronics are packaged in a compact, metal housing in ifm's 32-bit Extended Controller.
Operating voltage of 10...32 VDC with current consumption <320mA

All control functions are easily integrated, programming to the standard IEC61131-3.  And all interfaces can be reconfigured to SAE J1939 protocol for communication with diesel engines and powertrains.  Also, should you need to operate in extreme conditions, rely on its monitoring and protection functionality.
