Overview
Proper water treatment is a very important endeavor for all industrial and public enterprises. This is especially true for any application near a river, dam or lake. Water treatment produces organic and mineral sludges from filtration and sedimentation. Therefore, water treatment systems can be very complex consisting of pipelines, valves, and hybrid mechanical devices. Though the physical elements are a long-term constant, it is difficult to set up a proper control mechanism for the entire system. Advantech offers a complete water and waste water treatment monitoring and control systems for treating water to obtain very high quality water, including water levels, PH values, dissolved oxygen levels, sewage dissolution procedures, and more.
Application
The goal of the project is to centralize the measurement of water consumption and remotely control the water flow level in each node (branch), as well as to collect all the information on the status of the water.
In a regional water supply system, many different users are connected directly to the same system, and they all expect good quality water everyday. A centralized control and monitoring System has to be established in order to provide the same levels of water to every user at all times. In the meantime, wastewater treatment is also critical to the end treatment plants before it can be released back into the environment. Advantech offers suitable monitoring and control systems to meet customers' various requirements.
Advantech's ADAM-5510KW, ADAM-4000, ADAM-6000 and WebAccess SCADA/HMI software can all be combined to provide a water and wastewater treatment monitoring and control system. Using the browser-based WebAccess, managers and operators can remotely access, monitor and control the system from anywhere.
