High Functionality Suppression Lasers

Advanced Background & Foreground Suppression Laser Solutions from Optex FA (BGS-DL Laser Series) delivers high functionality CMOS Background & Foreground Suppression.

The BGS-DL10TCN sensor is placed looking down at fittings that are nested on a moving conveyor. 
The sensor is adjusted so that the output in on when a fitting is nested and off when a fitting is missing

The BGS-DL30CN is positioned looking down at circuit boards on a conveyor.  The sensor is adjusted to verify the presence of the transformer and make sure it is seated properly.

  • The BGS-D Series is designed for very accurate detection of objects without being influenced by background or color of the workpiece.
  • The CMOS Image sensor has a high repeat accuracy of .2mm that is good for precise positioning and leading edge detection applications.
  • This sensitivity adjustment provides a user friendly adjustment that greatly decreases the amount of set-up time required by typical sensors.
  • FGS mode is ideal for applications with a consistent background and irregular shaped target objects.
  • The BGS-DLT has a remote teach input that is also available for setting up the threshold remotely.
  • The BGS-DL series laser is also available in an economical 8 turn potentiometer version
  • The laser CMOS circuitry and well controlled shutter speed gives the BGS-DLT series the ability to detect black and/or highly reflective surfaces reliably.
  • The BGS-DLT series laser sensor includes a programmable push button teach with fine tune adjustment of the threshold.
  • The BGS-DLT can be set-up for either background (BGS) or foreground (FGS) suppression mode.
  • The highly visible 3 digit LED display shows a value representing distance from the target object to the sensor.
  • The BGS-DLT type includes a built in On Delay, Off Delay and One Shot Timer.
